As a "reference exhibit", we will exhibit a high-speed TCL image inspection system that can focus on the entire area of a sample with large steps in real time.

By attaching a variable focus TAGLENS made by Mitutoyo Corporation to our telecentric lens TCL series, we can synthesize focused images within the expanded focusing range in real time without moving the camera head in the Z-axis direction, Since the parts can be observed at the same time, it is possible to greatly reduce the inspection time.

For example, combining TAGLENS with a 0.2X TCL lens with a depth of field of about 7mm expands the focusable range to around 140mm while keeping the head fixed. This is because TAGLENS is resonated by ultrasonic waves, the refractive index changes, and the focus position changes. Its variable speed is approximately 14 millionths of a second. Since there is no shape change inside the lens, there is no error due to shape change, and the angle of refraction can be changed at high speed.
