TCL SERIES
Bi Telecentric with Polarizer/Internal Reflection Minimization(Option)

When testing samples with high surface reflection properties such as glass and wafer (Figure A), the hot spot phenomenon in the center of the image would not be as critical as samples with low surface reflection properties such as metals and elastomers (Figure B). This phenomenon is especially serious for low optical magnification situations. Hot spot could not be remedied by image processing; however, it could be alleviated with the use of microscopic polarizing optics (Figure C).
OPTART's whole VGA and megapixel bi-telecentric series lenses with coaxial lighting are all compatible with an polarizer option. Please consult with us regarding low surface reflection testing samples such as metals and elastomers.
